LOADER - untitled risk of rain fighting game


NEW CHARACTER : LOADER

New Stage : Abandoned Aqueduct 

(music made by Apaolo ofc)

- Added a little goober in Safe Travels :3

- Redrew the demo screen

- Hopefully fixed a few of the bugs with the css screen

(shouldnt softlock as much anymore i pray)

- Reshaded the CSS Art to match the newer shading style this game is going towards

- A Pause Screen that shows characters moves and items and stuff :-)

Universal Changes

- TIMER - 90 Seconds ! ! ! !

- PARRY - done with D in any direction that doesnt lead to grab upclose

 - It is on frame 6 so meaties work and parry mashing doesn't really work

 - Parry Breaks (unparryable stuff) exist like every grab and bandit item 2/loader item 1

- COMBO COUNTER - reworked with different art and goes past 25 now :3s

- You spawn on the same location in the map every single round instead of it being rng

- Airdashes have new effects and jumping over someone and airdashing doesnt lead to you going to other way anymore

- Bleed can kill you now

- Standing, Walking, and Crouching collision is universal to commando's (in height)

- Every Hit Pop Up hitstate has pushback

- Burst is inputted with neutral D instead of any direction to avoid accidental bursts

- Burst now costs 3 Bars

- Added the standard Hit Pause to all the air moves 

- *hopefully* made burst work in most situations (also increased its horizontal hitbox)

- Burst meter on hit reduced from 2 to 1 

- Gravity Scaling has been made a LOT more potent, and there is now a new part after 25 air hits that makes them sink (thank you commando)

Commando

2A

- Fixed a small bug that made 2A more plus on hit against blocking high

- Made the hitbox smaller during the first animation frame of the active frames

6A

- Reworked the Shock Air Hitstate (6A hits differently in the air)

4A

- Tweaked to be not +5 on block (it's minus 2 now) and made it have less endlag

- Added more frames before you can jump cancel

jA

- Made the cancels into Airdash and j8A not take eons

j2A

- Reworked to have a cross-up variation

- 2nd hit goes less up i think

j8A

- No longer goes into itself instantly

2BB

- Launches a little less 

4B

- Added another second of cooldown so you cant just use it immediately after it blows up

6B

- Added Chip Damage

EX6B

- Added  Chip Damage

- Made the start-up grabbable

2B and EX2B

- Made the hitboxes go more vertically to hit easier

- Made the hurtboxes go a little more horizontal to compensate

426B

- Can now air hit (apparently it couldnt do that before lmao)

- No longer loses meter (its a feature now)

Shattering Justice

- Back variation is no longer disjointed (has a huge ass hurtbox now)

- Added a few more frames of endlag on Back Variation

- Because of the New Gravity Scaling the Back Variation's Metered option no longer connects 3 times in a row

Polylute

- Does more Blockstun (it's not punishable on block anymore)

- Removed a bit of endlag 

- Now actually increases the combo counter

Volcanic Egg

- Invul for 15 out of the 30 frames in the egg (Invul on frame 9)

- Increased start-up by 2

- Goes more horizontal (for fun)

Bandit

---

- Fixed a Bug that allowed you to see the opponents item counter (APR) before the round started

jA

- Reduced the landing lag (it was there to compensate for not having any hitpause) 

- Technically nerfed it still because of hitpause but i gave yall cooler routes have fun :-)

jB

- honestly this move just straight up didnt function with the new cooldown system so i recoded it ! ! !

- Air Hit now pops up a little bit :-)

- 5B and j.B have a longer cooldown

Desperado

- Stacks Now Carry In-Between Rounds (applies to Bandit Super)

- Pops up on air hit (for fun)

- Buffed its damage to 4,6,8,10,12,14 damage (0-5 stacks)

Harpoon

- Added a few frames of endlag because this shit was plus for some reason

Firemans Boots

- Added a few more frames of endlag

- Made it giga minus

Sawmarang

- Has more endlag (because this move was actually insane)

- 236C has a bigger hitbox because it kinda didnt exist lmao
